How To Use The Volcano Hybrid?

Operating the Volcano does require some pre-knowledge of how to work with a desktop hybrid vape, and the Storz Bickel Volcano have done their best to streamline this process. 

1. How To Operate The Volcano Hybrid Vaporizer

The first time you begin operating your Storz and Bickel Volcano Hybrid Vape, you will need to do a burn off. Basically, this is just a dry run of your machinery, in which no herb or concentrate material is used, and no smoke is inhaled. 

This is primarily a precautionary measure to ensure best operation of the Volcano and the easiest way to burn off any manufacturer residue on your vaporizer. Just turn your machine on and let it go through hte heating process at the highest possible temperature.

Engaging in this will help rid this vape of any particulates and buildup from manufactuer.

Next, put your herb in the Volcano’s grindr, and twist and rotate for up to 20 seconds, getting yourself a fine grain to enjoy.

On top, you will see the filling chamber. Unscrew the pieces that lead to the bowl, then put in your herbs. Do not over pack your herbs. Reassemble. 

Balloon Procedure

From here you are free to begin heating everything up. Press the “HEAT” button and use the LED display to toggle the temperature to one of your choosing. Next, grab the balloon, take off the black piece, then attach the matching orange piece to the top of the Volcano.

Once the ballon is filled with vapor, go ahead and remove it, making sure you have turned off the air, and lift off the balloon off the Volcano Hybrid. 

Now you will go ahead and reattach the black mouthpiece. You can now inhale the vapor from the balloon by using this mouthpiece and pressing the air button. The black mouthpiece opens when your mouth pushes it towards the balloon. When you take it away from your mouth, the mouthpiece closes.

Whip Procedure

The Volcano Vape Whip is just as simple. You will attach this to the Volcano the same way you attached the balloon. No need to press the air button, you just use the natural inhalation of your lungs for about 10 seconds to get some of the air. 

Remove the filling chamber in between sessions so there is no overheating or vaporizing of your herbs. No wastefulness!

2. How To Get Best Vapor Quality

The best way to ensure vapor quality is cleanliness, which we will get into shortly.

Remember that any vaping experience is only as good as the herbs or concentrates being used. Try to use fresh extracts. Overheating will affect flavor.

Lastly, overpacking is bad! 

3. How To Clean/Maintain It

Wiping down the external body with a damn cloth or disinfectant wipe is about the most you will have to do on the outside.

Balloons will eventually dirty up. Replace these as needed.

But for the real cleaning duties, you will need to de-attach the cleaning unit and all its connected components. The connections will get submerged in isopropyl alcohol. 

Ensure everything is squeaky dry before proceeding.
