How To Use Arizer XQ2?

There is so much included with the Arizer XQ2 desktop vaporizer that it may feel pretty intimidating at first glance. 1. How To Operate Arizer XQ2

Upon turning on the XQ2 vape, you will be greeted with the Arizer logo followed by a little smiley face. You will then see the current temperature of the unit along with the desired temperature that it is currently heating up too, both displayed in celsius.

If you prefer to have it display with Fahrenheit, simply press the settings button and navigate through the settings using the arrow buttons until you see “temp setting.” Use the arrows again to switch between either Celsius or Fahrenheit, then go back to the main screen.

You can change the desired temperature from the main screen simply by using the up and down arrow buttons, the desktop unit will instantly begin heating up to that newly set temperature. 

You can change the settings of the LED light strip located towards the bottom of the XQ2 vape base. You can choose to leave it set on a solid color including pink, purple, blue, cyan, green, yellow, orange, and red.

There are also two different modes you can set for the LED strip and these include spectrum and dynamic. Spectrum mode will circle through all the different colors over and over while dynamic mode uses the light strip to represent the current status of the unit.

The light indications for dynamic mode are as follows:

• Yellow to orange: heating process
• Blinks green twice: set temperature
• Pulses orange over and over: stable temperature
• Pulses purple: fan operation
• Pulses cyan: cooling mode
• Pulses blue: cooling with fan

You can set a color, choose from spectrum or dynamic mode, and also turn the light strip off by pressing the settings button and using the arrow buttons to navigate until you see the “LED lights” option, then go through these light settings using the arrows until you find the setting you want.

It is highly recommended that you use material with a coarse grind that is not too fine. You will then take the glass connoisseur bowl and fill the extraction chamber up to where the frosted joint begins.

Place the bowl onto the heater and allow your herbs to prime for 3 to 5 minutes before getting started. When it comes to taking draws from the Arizer XQ2 vaporizer, you can either use the silicone whips or attach a balloon to fill up for more portability around the house.

To use the 3-foot silicone whip included in the kit, attach the whip to the connoisseur bowl, then take a draw from the borosilicate glass mouthpiece on the other end of the tube. You can even turn on the fan during use for assisted draws that are more powerful. 

To fill up a balloon, attach the whip adapter as you are priming the herbs and after a few minutes, you can connect the balloon bag to the adapter. From there, you can turn on the fan by using the fan button on the base of the XQ2 balloon vaporizer.

The balloon will begin to quickly fill up with thick vapor. When using balloons, it is best to begin with lower temperatures and slowly increase the temperature as the bag fills up. When it has successfully filled up, you can detach the balloon from the adapter and inhale from the mouthpiece of the balloon.

Use a balloon cap to halt the outpour of vapor from the mouthpiece when you need a little break.

The aromatherapy feature included with the XQ2 desktop vaporizer can be used for things like lavender, chamomile, orange peel, or any other botanical. Simply place the aromatherapy dish on top of the heater, then turn the fan on by pressing the fan button on the base of the unit to spread extraction through the room. 

2. How To Get Best Vapor Quality

Great vapor quality begins with properly prepared herbs and for the XQ2 vape, this means a nice coarse grind that is not too fine. After loading up the bowl with ground dry herbs, allow them to prime on the heater for about 3-5 minutes before you begin taking draws.

From there, it is all about utilizing the different features of the unit in a way that matches your preferences. As you use the XQ2 desktop unit, play around with different temperature settings and try using the fan for powerful assisted draws while using the whip.

3. How To Clean/Maintain It

To clean the Arizer XQ2 desktop vaporizer, start by taking all removable parts and taking off any silicone or screens attached to them. Submerge all glass or metal parts in a container of isopropyl alcohol for about half an hour.

You can then take a pipe cleaner to dislodge any debris remaining in these pieces. Rinse all of them well with warm water then towel dry. You can take a brush tool to gently brush off the heater before reassembling the glass parts.
