Tips For Using The Boundless Tera Vaporizer
Posted by ADRIAN V
The Boundless Tera Vaporizer manages to pack swappable 18650 batteries and powerful connective heater into a package that’s both elegant and tough. The best thing about the Tera is that it is incredibly easy to get it up and running. The simple guide below covers everything from the unboxing to your first session, and some cleaning tips too.

Charging
2 rechargeable 18650 batteries power the Boundless Tera Vaporizer. The included USB cable can be plugged into your smartphone’s USB outlet dongle. Charging your device this way will take close to 3 hours, but using an external battery charger is much quicker. Installing the batteries is as simple as pulling outward on the battery cover and setting them in with the positive ends pointing towards the mouthpiece.

Controls
Press on the rectangular power button 5 times in a row to turn on the Boundless Tera Vaporizer. The screen will light up and display the current base temperature and battery charge. Hold the power button for 3 seconds to warm it up towards the last temperature used. Use the buttons to the right and left of the screen to set your desired temperature. Press both side buttons simultaneously to change between Celsius and Fahrenheit. Alternatively, with the screen on the side that’s closest to you, press the left button 3 times quickly to flip the screen to face the other way.
Running a Burn Off
It is advisable to run a burn off cycle to ensure that nothing is left over from shipping or manufacturing. To activate concentration mode, turn the Tera on and press the power button 3 times. Once the device has reached maximum temperature, blow through the intake hole found at the bottom to push hot air through the mouthpiece and oven.
Your First Session of Herb
A medium-fine grind is ideal for the Tera, but most importantly, a loose pack up to the top of the metal side wall. Ensure that there’s enough room for hot air to move in between your herb and cook them properly. For your first session, 390°F is recommended, but beyond that, there’s nothing much to know.
You can choose to pull a bit stronger or fairly light and the Tera still produces a tasty vapor. However, for the best experience, you need to make sure that you draw for at least 3 seconds if not longer. The water pipe adapter really increases the volume of vapor if you have clean glass handy.
Concentrate Mode
The other instructions might be great for use with herb, but the Tera has a concentrate mode if you want to use stickier substances. The first step is to remove the lower screen, take the mesh pad that’s included and put it into the oven’s bottom. Put a very tiny amount, less than a grain of rice, on the center of the pad. Turn on the vaporizer, and then press the concentrate button thrice to activate concentrate mode. Turn on the heater by holding the power button for 3 seconds. Take several long, slow draws once it buzzes. The first couple of draws will probably be wispy since the concentrate will be melting into the pad. Keep drawing until it no longer produces vapor.
Once done, quickly remove the mesh pad or it may set in place until it is heated up again. Watch out, since it will be hot after use, but you can tap it out by holding your vaporizer upside down.
Quick Clean Up
It is highly recommended that you clean up the Tera immediately after every session to prevent any additional build-up over time. Use the included cleaning brush with semi-stiff bristles to clean any debris loose from the interior of the oven and the mouthpiece screen’s underside. If the Tera no longer feels so fresh, you can consult our cleaning and maintenance guide to walk you through the complete teardown process.
