First of all, empty the vase and remove the bowl. Add 3-4 teaspoons of coarse salt to half a cup of isopropyl alcohol. Adjust quantity based on the size of your vase. Pour the alcohol and salt cleaning mixture into your vase, seal the downstem opening and the mouthpiece with your hands.
