How To Use the G Pen Roam?

We will talk you through every step you need to take prior to using your G Pen Roam for the first time.

1. Charge the Battery

We always recommend fully charging the battery of your new product before first use. This will help you to increase the longevity of your battery life to its full potential. Plug in your Micro USB charger to your device and the other end into your wall socket. Charge for 1-2 hours.

2. Fill the Water Tube

Filling the water tube of your G Pen Roam is easy. First things first, remove the battery from the unit as well as the heating chamber. Do this by pulling up and away from the mouthpiece.

Gently pull upwards on the mouthpiece to remove the enclosed water tube. Fill the water tube up to the black fill line at the bottom of the tube. Be sure not to overfill with water. Reattach the mouthpiece and the battery. 

How To Operate The G Pen Roam

To load concentrates into the G Pen Roam, open the lid to expose the filling chamber that contains the quartz heating element underneath. Place your concentrates (we recommend using a small amount, the size of a grain of rice) inside the filling chamber onto the center of the enclosed quartz dish using the G Pen Tool. Close the lid. Turn the device on and select your desired temperature. 

To turn the device on, click the power button five times. You can change the exact temperature by pressing the up and down buttons. Press the power button twice to activate heating. You can change from auto to manual by holding down the power button. This will heat the coil so long as you have the button held down. The temperature settings can be adjusted in increments of 25* F by pressing the up and down buttons.

Once the G Pen Roam is powered on and the desired temperature is selected, click the main power button two times to activate heating. The Roam will vibrate, and its display will show wavy lines to indicate heating has begun. Once the unit reaches temperature, it will vibrate again and will display a thumbs up. Heating can be canceled at any time during the process with two more clicks of the power button.

How To Clean It

First of all, separate the quartz tank, tank cover, and the two detachable air path channels. Soak all the components (excluding the silicone air path channel) in Isopropyl alcohol for 30-60 minutes and then wipe all the remaining residue off using cotton swabs or pipe cleaners. You can also use these to gently swab the silicone air path channel liner and battery. Be sure to wipe all the parts down and allow them to dry completely.

It is also important to address all the common areas for clogging. These can be found in the stainless steel air path of the battery as well as the air path opening at the bottom of the Quartz tank. You can minimize clogging by limiting your loads to smaller dab sizes.

Fully assemble parts and engage device at full activation on MAX temperature level to burn off any residual ISO on remaining parts.
