How To Use Dr. Dabber Stella?

1. How To Operate Dr. Dabber Stella

Operating your Stella is quite simple and does not take much of a learning curve at all. 

First, you want to make sure your Stella has been properly charged before proceeding to your session. Once that has been done, go ahead and remove the magnetic mouthpiece. 

Load your wax concentrates directly to the bottom of the heating plate. Make sure you do not overload it here. You will want about a pea-sized amount of concentrate to begin. 

Reconnect everything and tap the power button 5 times to turn the device on. To toggle between heat settings, you will hit the button 3 times (more on the temperature presets later, but they start at 460° F (preheat), then go up to 550° F, 630° F, and finally a 750° F max temperature). 

After you have selected your heat setting, hold down the power button, and take long, slow, but gentle drag on your vape, and enjoy the pleasant effects!

2. How To Get Best Vapor Quality

It is recommended that you run a preheat cycle for about 10 seconds before you select your temperature preset. It is better to get the unit “warmed up” so you can benefit from the best vapor production. 

Dry burns are discouraged. This will impede the life span of the equipment, so you should only operate presets when there is some oil in the chamber. This will help accustom your atomizer over time.

Remember, atomizers are not covered by warranty and will eventually need to be replaced, so treat them with care. 

Any burnt taste or reduction of vapor quality is a sign that the atomizer may need replacing. Luckily, Dr. Dabber sells an excellent Stella Kit which has backups for all hardware. We recommend having this on deck for any future mishaps. 

3. How To Clean/Maintain It

Cleaning is a necessary part of owning a vape of any kind. Luckily this process is pretty simplistic when it comes to the Stella. You will need isopropyl alcohol to clean this device, and make sure it has a concentration of 91% or higher.

First, pull the magnetic mouthpiece off of the atomizer and remove the airflow regulator by pushing your dab tool through the mouthpiece.

Have a dish of isopropyl alcohol on deck, so you can put the mouthpiece and airflow regulator into it. Make sure that these pieces are completely submerged. Leave in there for about 15 minutes. 

Briefly heat up the atomizer, then use a q tip or cotton swab to absorb up any residue inside the atomizer. 

After this, you will take a cotton swab or q tip dipped in isopropyl alcohol and swab the bottom and sides of the atomizer including the walls. Be gentle here!

From here, do another brief heat up session, and voila! A clean, pristine Stella vape.

We love the temperature presets of the Stella vape. First, it includes a preheat button preset, in the color purple, which is highly useful so you are not cold heating your pen. This starts a preheat at the temperature of 460° F. 

Then we move to green (LOW), at 550° F, then blue (MEDIUM) at 630° F, and finally orange (HIGH) at 750° F. 

You can select whichever of these suits you best. Lower temperatures will give you lovely flavor, while high temperatures will have you sacrificing some of the flavor for luminous clouds.
