Wanting to redesign the house-made gravity bong Dave Daily the founder of GRAV Labs went out to make and perfect the first-ever all-glass gravity bong the Gravitron. Wanting to have a long-lasting piece he made the Gravatron out of high-quality borosilicate glass which is now the staple of bongs.
If bong is not your style you may recognize the Helix classic hand pipe. Developed with Will Menzies who came up with the venturi chamber, the two of them came up with a helix mouthpiece. As it grew in popularity Will wanted to continue to improve the design while Dave wanted to explore new designs. The two went their separate ways with Will opening up his own store American Helix.

1. How do I clean my piece?
The best ways to clean your glass piece is either to create a saline solution with kosher salt and isopropyl in a ziplock bag or container. Allow the piece to soak first and break up any tar or resin then begin to shake the piece to further break apart any residue left on it. You will want to rinse your piece off and use a cotton swab or pipe cleaner to take off any left over residue.
Another way to clean your piece is to allow it to soak in a cleaning solution, Grunge off is best as it is a citic acid base cleaner. Submerge your piece in a container filled with the cleaner and allow it to soak for 1 hour to 1 day. After it has soaked, rinse it off with water and allow it to dry before use.
2. What does the Helix do?
The Helix is a funnel shape that will pull in your smoke like a tornado. Instead of simply going through a straight tube most of the Helix pieces have air holes that allow air through the helix inturn allowing more surface area and air to get in contact with the smoke. The extra air allows your smoke to cool down and provides you a smooth and cool smoke.
3. How to use a glass blunt?
The glass blunt is quite simple to use once you get the hang of it. You will need to start with pulling back the mouthpiece that has the smaller opening on it out of the main chamber. Pack the main chamber with your herb as you use it pish the mouthpiece in to get rid of the ash. There is a pinch in the mouthpiece that enters the chamber that will prevent any herb from getting sucked in.
