This new version carries over everything that made the original so widely lauded and updates it for the modern vape scene. 

It does this with some margin pushing additions and tweaks to the already fantastic features of the original device.

How does The Mighty Plus work?

1. Heating System

As you'd expect from any Storz & Bickel device, the Mighty Plus features an incredible hybrid heating system. This innovative set up has not only put Storz & Bickel on the map, but it has also made them the success they are today. It works by bringing together the two best ways to vaporize herb; conduction and convection. 

Conduction works directly on the surface area of your herb, think of it like a stove. Convection on the other hand is more like an oven, heating the air surrounding your herb and allowing that to gradually vaporize the active ingredients. Within the Mighty Plus, these methods operate in tandem to get the very most out of your herb and generate the purest, tastiest, and densest possible vapor. On top of this, the Mighty Plus has a ceramic coated chamber, which does even more to preserve the flavor of your herb!

2. Turning on the device 

When you want to turn on your Mighty Plus, start by pressing the power button found on the face of the vape. This will activate it and immediately launch a heating cycle. The Mighty Plus features an intuitive control scheme and an easy to read LED display. To adjust its heat setting, all you need to do is press the up and down buttons to move up and down respectively through the temperature settings. A short press on these buttons will make the setting jump up in single-degree increments, holding it down will make it cycle up or down in ten-degree increments. 

3. Loading the device 

Despite its reputation as a difficult device to use, The Mighty Plus is surprisingly straightforward. Start by gently twisting and lifting away the top segment of the vaporizer, including the mouthpiece. This will reveal the oven chamber, letting you easily decant your dry herb in. Then, carefully tamp down the herb and replace the lid.

4. Hitting the device

Hitting the Mighty Plus is comfortable and easy. It features a swiveling mouthpiece, so to take a hit twist it around so it juts out of the device! Then you just wait for the Mighty Plus to reach vaping temperature which should take a little more than a minute.

How To Get Best Vapor Quality

When you want to get the very best vapor quality out of your Mighty Plus it's advisable that you put a little effort in during the prep stage before your session. Before anything else, you need to ensure that you grind your dry herb to a medium-fine consistency. Pour your herb into the Mighty Plus' chamber and press it down, don't pack it too tight, as you want to make sure that there's still enough space for hot air to circulate between the granules. 

How easy is The Mighty Plus to clean?

Cleaning is a chore, and chores suck. However, it is important; the health of your vape and the quality of your vapor rely on you keeping this device up to scrate. You can go longer in between more comprehensive and labor intensive cleaning. 

When the time does come to give it a serious clean you'll find that after a little practice this job will go a lot faster. 

To begin, gather some cleaning supplies. Helpful items to have include isopropyl alcohol, cotton swabs, and a soft-bristled brush. 

For a clean of this type, you'll need to take apart the device. Start by removing the cooling unit located at the top of the vaporizer and disassemble it into its separate components and O-Rings. When you've done this, put all of these into a tub and soak them in alcohol for around thirty minutes. 

Next, pick up the main body of your Mighty Plus, and carefully wipe out the dry herb chamber. Only use soft friction in here, as you don't want to scratch the ceramic coating. Slightly wet a q-tip and gently scrub around the inside of the chamber. Be extremely sparing with the amount of alcohol you use. Too much can potentially damage the Mighty's electronic components. If there are any hardened patches of grime, break them up with a soft brush.

Reassemble the vaporizer and ensure that you put it through a test heat cycle to ensure that any residual alcohol has evaporated away.
